Central Pennsylvania was hit hard by heavy rain and high winds on Thursday, Aug. 8.
The Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church located in the 2200 block of Derry Street had its roof blown off as the storm came through.
The Inclinator Company of America building, located at 601 Gibson Boulevard in Swatara Township, had the side of the warehouse ripped off.
Midtown Cinema located at 250 Reily Street is closed for repairs following flooding.
Trees were downed outside the National Civil War Museum located at 1 Lincoln Circle.
A tractor-trailer was blown over in the Harrisburg area due to high winds.
Residents across Adams, Dauphin, Cumberland, Franklin, York, and Lancaster counties have also reported flooding and wind damage — which could have been a tornado, the National Weather Service is investigating.
